Emma + Josh

What could be better than a home wedding, where you grew up as a kid, playing in the fields, swimming in the neighbouring river... This is what Emma wanted for her perfect day... and she found the man who couldn't dream of sharing a better day!
For the day, they dressed up a huge marquee over the family orchard, dad cleared up the river bank for the ceremony set up under the trees. You all dream about those unique set ups since you've been little girls... Emma and Josh made that one just happen!

​Emma and Josh are strong passionate personalities. You can tell by the way they look at each other, the way they set up their magic day. Everything was perfect to the detail!
Emma being a caterer, we had even more pressure on as she knew what is involved into creating flavoursome pieces of art and delectable dishes. She also surely knew what she wanted and as we quite often do, completely customised a menu for their very special day! What a delight that was to look after those two and their guests!

Caramelised chicken, cranberry sauce and brie tartlets
Avocado filled squid ink chou pastry with tempura prawn
Roasted asparagus and parmesan cone
Beef pattie and BBQ sauce and swiss cheese burger

Grazing platters
Selection of French camembert, roquefort, gruyere, St Maure de Tourraine goat cheese, walnut cheese, mimolette and St Nectaire with cold cuts, home made pesto, roasted beetroot hummus, roasted red pepper caviar, kalamata olive tapenade, lemon garlic and artichoke with parmesan cream, fresh seasonal cut fruits and garden vegetables, sourdough and crackers

Main (family style)
Juno Gin, orange and beetroot cured Salmon
Maple and wholegrain mustard slow roasted Lamb
Grilled chicken with salsa verde

Roast pumpkin, kale, toasted hazelnut and grilled haloumi salad 
Fresh greens with avocado, almonds and basil pesto
Green beans and broccoli with zesty lemon butter and parmesan
Farfalles pasta salad with feta

Dessert
Three wedding cakes made by Emma herself
