Pascal Donsimoni and Francois Husillos met in New Plymouth in 2009. Pascal was raised in sunny Corsica, Francois grew up in the South West of France, they share a common love of food, travel and people. Their individual views on epicurean delights have been shaped by the region in which they grew up in France. Together they created a High end sure-mesure catering offering the very best produce and service – L‘ Epicure was born in early 2017 and is based in the heart of Oakura, Taranaki.

Focussing on events and weddings, Pascal and Francois design custom-tailored menus to include as much local and seasonal products as they can, to utilise their skill sets and in particular Pascal’s skills as a classically trained French pastry chef as well as catering to the tastes of their clients.
